Practitioner Terms

These terms apply to practitioners and clinic personnel using MamaBPT for professional work. You must be authorized by the clinic associated with your account and use the service only within your role and professional scope.

Clinical responsibility

MamaBPT is a communication and exercise-plan delivery tool. Practitioners remain responsible for patient assessment, informed clinical decisions, exercise selection, monitoring, documentation, escalation, and compliance with professional and clinic policies. Do not rely on messages, activity indicators, reminders, or service availability for emergencies.

Authorized access

Use a named account, protect credentials and devices, keep patient assignments accurate, and access only information needed for legitimate care or administration. Administrative oversight is for access, safety, and audit purposes and must not be used as an unattributed clinical identity.

Information and patient rights

Before entering regulated or sensitive information, the clinic must determine the applicable legal basis, notices, permissions, record-retention rules, and vendor agreements. A clinic should not infer a BAA, data-processing addendum, international-transfer mechanism, certification, or particular regulatory status from the availability of the app. The clinic remains responsible for responding to care-record requests it controls and for coordinating deletion or retention restrictions.

Service limits

The service may be interrupted, and notifications may be delayed or unavailable. Maintain a clinically appropriate alternative for urgent communication and continuity of care. Do not upload content unless the clinic has the right to use it.

Suspension and account deletion

Access may be suspended to protect patients, the clinic, or the service, or when authorization ends. A practitioner account with assigned patients may require an audited reassignment before access is disabled. Account-deletion requests begin a review and do not override retention duties; see Account deletion.
